Re: SO UH... this happened...
All of my Syrians are too hyper to hold. I do hold them every night, but they don't sit still so it is very short lived. If I give them a treat, they either quickly pouch it or ignore it. They are on the run! I wonder if it's because they were likely not held much before bought or if it's just because it's their peak energy time and they have way too much energy to burn to sit still?

Re: SO UH... this happened...
It might be a mix of both. I can hold Java for a while but she does get squirmy and jumpy. She's not particularly calm.
My dwarf boys on the other hand are pretty good. Mocha is always on the go, but Caramel will cuddle more.

Penny will sit still for a sec while I pet her back but she's clearly contemplating her next move. lol gizmo has been a ting like someone laced him with sugar or caffeine! Hyper old boy! lol I think the boys will be 2 years in August.

Haha, oh jeez. Java gets like that, and little Cora was a bit jumpy when I had her yesterday but I attribute a lot of that to being a baby. She sat for my SO and ate some broccoli like a good little girl.

Re: SO UH... this happened...
That's good! Penny is the only baby I've had and she was (kinda still is) very jumpy. I should have pet her a bit more sometimes before picking her up and used the carry cup til she got used to me, but she's past that now thankfully. Well, mostly. Lol

Just put him on a first class flight. I hear they like burritos, hehe.
I've never seen them either. I was shocked.
