Re: Charlie's thread
Well I don't think Charlie has quite forgiven me for the vet visit yet. He comes out early evening these days (as soon as he smells his food put out!). Tonight I went to pick him up and he did a fight pose and batted me away with his paw. He was alright once he was out and had a raisin but didn't want to stay out long. He has always taken changes badly. I feel awful that I was holding him while someone clipped his teeth. So it might take a bit of trust building again. He's fine in himself. Decidedly grumpy with me though.

Aww bless him, he'll soon realise it was for the greater good when he can get his chompers around a Whimzee again!

Re: Charlie's thread
Lol! I do wish I knew what that Fitch mountain was about It's got bigger and bigger in recent weeks! I'd like to x-ray and see what's under it!

Re: Charlie's thread
Charlie looks like he's been busy making his Fitch mountain, it looks really impressive! The photos of Charlie in his labyrinth house are so cute, does he bury and sleep beneath his house?
I'm glad he is enjoying his food again. Hopefully Charlie will realise that you did what was best him by getting his teeth clipped and will trust you again soon.

Re: Charlie's thread
Aww Charlie, give Mum a break. You can enjoy your food again thanks to her love and care even if it did feel a bit undignified with that stranger fiddling in your mouth!
Aren't they funny little characters? 3 night ago Mocho came out a bit early and got so excited about treats that he climbed out the little door into my hand for more. Result? He has firmly stayed out of sight since in case I get any funny ideas that he likes me!

Re: Charlie's thread
Aw - Mocho! Yes sometimes they do like to make it clear who is in charge! I think Charlie is a bit scared maybe and needs time to get confidence back. Perhaps he thinks if I take him out of the cage I might be taking him somewhere to get something clipped again.
SKB he sleeps in the left hand front room but just below the level of the Fitch (ie floor of the house). He hasn't build a huge nest in there, just a bit of one and just burrows down into the Fitch a bit although he does seem to be partly under the outer edge of the house when he's asleep, but still visible from the top. So maybe he does go under his mountain a bit sometimes.
He is definitely keen on his food at the moment!

Ok, this sound like what Sherbet does as she makes her nest in her house and she sleeps in her Fitch beneath the level of her house. But the size of Charlie Fitch mountain he has made he must be hiding something good beneath it.
