Default Got new Perfecto need advice please

New to forum
New to Robovoski's
And after reading reviews on cages etc many times over I would like some advice on the best thing to put in as the bottom layer

Would the perfecto need cleaning out completely every week?

Any suggestions welcomed

I would like to get this set up asap (i'm like a kid at christmas waiting to unpack it )

I have already got a silent spinner regular size, one of those that look like a satelite dish too
Log, a grassy house and a ceramic carousel that can be climed on or through, tubes i can filch of the Spelos they are in now

What about water,? the girl in the shop said she had 3 of these tanks and just used a dish for water changed daily

I have got a stainless steel shallow dog dish that i can put sand in, my book said chinchilla sand so I got that too

Please put me out of my misery and help me get this up and running.....I'm sure Raindrop and Puddle will be most grateful too

Sounds like you have a lovely setup, for my robo in his perfecto i clean him out every 2 weeks.

For the bottom of the tank i put a little burrow corner in under the low shelf & he likes to burrow into that. He manages to get up & down the shelves fine without any aid of a ladder.

Aslong as theres no fighting over the wheel you sound like you have everything to make a lovely home for your hamsters. Some robos can get very territorial over the wheel but since you have a flying saucer it might not be a problem.
