Oh my.....introducing
Hey everyone - we didn't think we'd get another hamster so soon after Conker passed. However look at who has arrived in our household today.
She's about 7 weeks old, she's short haired and is black and white in colour. She's currently sleeping. I will post more photo's later but wanted to introduce her to you.
She has no name yet - that will come later.
Hope you like...
When we get better photo's I'd love to know what type/colour she is.

Oooh she looks lovely, Suga!
Does she have light eye rings? She looks sable-banded to me...

They are a lighter yes and she is so tiny!
Where does the sable part come from? The banded bit is because of the white band round her?????
thanks

All these adorable new babies. She is just gorgeous suga and I agree, a sable banded. If you look at the roots of the darker fur if it is cream she is a sable. She is quite fluffy for a short hair suga and you may find she gets fluffier and turns out long hair! Where did she come from? Was it a love at first sight situation?

I did a Holly  - forever will it now be known as a Holly :-))
She came from Acorn Pet Centre - she was sitting in her bowl yesterday looking at me and after i convinced my other half last night I went back today and she came home.
She looks healthy, her eyes are bright, her fur clean, no sign of wet tail or any problems. All the other babies looked really good to. I actually got Conker from the same place which is why I went back to have a look the other day.
I just put her into her temporary cage - whilst I decide if she will have conker's old one - and i put my hands together to pick her up and she didn't even flinch. I hope it's a sign that she will be friendly and not a sign that she's poorly....
Maybe she will be a long haired - will have to wait and see. When she's settled I will have a look to see if her roots are cream.
