Awesome, I'm glad your perspex has been sorted now

We've finalised our pets caging now, so I'm having fun drawing those diagrams because I keep getting confused and a diagram means I can't anymore lol. I'm pleased to say these should make sense to anyone now :P

So do I! Paint on the pc is useful
My latest diagrams are good and useful, and really easily understood now

I hope your hamster cage is done by Christmas, if it is you need to give us a Christmas present in the form of cage photos! (Maybe not on Christmas day but around then it needs to be done.)

We'll be spending Jan working on our robo cage expansion, so we'll get those up eventually too
We're also giving Scamp a new caging arrangement but thats very little DIY involved.

This cage is going to be great. We propped it up last night as a rough guide to how it will look & I think Rhubes will love the extra space. OH is getting the bolts tonight & the wire mesh. No-one has the 13mm glavanised wire mesh in stock until after xmas so we are gonna use the 6mm sheet instead. OH has decided it would be best to have the door come off completely. Not sure how this is gonna work but we shall see.... Rhubes safety & well-being is essential - above all else.

Can't wait to see your plans etc! And I promise I will take photos as long as I'm happy with the end result.

OH is outside & has started on the cage. He must be freezing but I don't want to interrupt otherwise he'll stop working on it!

Good! Very good person!
And look on the bright side - you won't be making him work through Christmas day. We're seriously considering working on the robo cages tomorrow lol
(Got the wood a day or two ago, and now despite the fact that they can't move in for over a week we're considering building tomorrow rather than waiting until after the visit to my parents place lol)

In my experience its best to do it while you have the DIY bug otherwise it just sits there! So fingers x'd it gets done.

Unfortunately Rhubarbs cage isn't going to be ready until after xmas due to the fact that OH didn't quite realise how difficult it would be to cut 4mm perspex even though I told & told him it would be a problem.

Awww
I get excited every time I see an update to this lol
I hope Rhubarb gets his cage soon though

Oh and good luck to your OH with cutting 4mm perspex lol, sounds like a bit of a challenge, but given what we built Scamps entire bin cage with (two penknives and a screwdriver) I'm pretty confident that anything is possible with effort lol
