Re: Meet Misty :)
Joey, I love it! It's absolutely fine for Misty!
Any news on buying it?

I appreciate you asking . Yes! And it's for me if I want it. And I would like to have it very much. Tomorrow I am taking the trip to get it. So hopefully tomorrow evening she will be in the new cage, if all goes well.

Can't wait to get started. My hands are itching haha. So much fun. And it will make my mind at ease knowing she is safe and can't get out and has the room she needs.

Re: Meet Misty :)
Awww look at you proud hamdad! !
I love the first and third photos. She's really cute. I love grey syrians , I think they're one of my favourites.
I'm sure she's going to enjoy her new cage.
I have the same house (or at least it looks the same). Diy tip: if you want, you can easily remove the roof (it's nailed to the bottom) and then glue the pieces together with Elmers glue, so that way you have a removable roof and you don't need to completely destroy her nest every time you need to check her nest.

Lol thank you
Good tip but I don't tend to bother her in her nest, I clean it out every three weeks and she gets all new bedding and nesting material. With just a fluff of the old one.
She has been exploring, she has been testing the enclosure like a velociraptor for weaknesses lol. I had to make some adjustments. I had to place the house closer to the bottom, because she has been gnawing at the glass corner and it was driving me mad at night. She has been gnawing at almost everything, and I am glad she made me pay attention to some stuff that needed improvement.
On the bright side the house is now half buried in the mini hemp, she can burrow down and bunker up like she did in the beginning. A lot is also acclimatizing to everything I think, she has been very active and exploring the whole cage.

Re: Meet Misty :)
She looks so cute and happy in her new home. I too love the grey Syrians and had one a few years back.
You made the right choice getting the tank, love the set up.

Thank you she is settling in quite nicely now, it took a few days but she is a bit calmer, I could tell it was a big move for her

Re: Meet Misty :)
Bless her, those few days to get used to it has happened with a few of mine in the past, now it's her palace and she'll be marking it with her scent .
