Biscuit, the amateur escape artist!
So last night Biscuit decided to attempt an escape plan! I had gone to bed early so my OH got her out in her ball for a bit. The next thing I knew my OH was waking me up saying "biscuits escaped she's under the sofa!"
In my half-asleep state that message didn't really sink in for me but I did get my butt out of bed to help.... Although I wasn't really much help as I didnt even know what day/time it was. I almost felt like I was dreaming! Lol
Biscuit was under the sofa and starting to investigate the cables that run along the back of the sofa for the phone and table lamp so my OH asked me to switch them off in case she chewed them (I was so out of it I couldn't find the switch! Lol) after recapturing the little escape artist my OH explained that she had managed to twist the lid of her ball off and escape that way. He didn't realise what she had done until it was too late.
Needless to say she was returned safely to her cage and I went back to bed! Lol I think my OH might be getting her a new ball today though!

Biscuit is certainly keeping both of you on your toes, lol! Whenever I have Twinkle out in her ball I put masking tape over both ends to keep her secure.

Re: Biscuit, the amateur escape artist!
My Hamster Spock escaped from her cage when I was a teen. She had somehow got into the fireplace. Thankfully she came out on her own and was unharmed. And she had chewed through the cage! I think we did have a Gerbil escape the ball once as well. Nightmare trying to catch escapees!
Glad Biscuit was ok after her little adventure!

Re: Biscuit, the amateur escape artist!
I'm dreading this happening with Rue! She scaled down my legs yesterday and got on to the floor. I started screaming for my sister (I'm a wheelchair user so I was pretty much helpless) and luckily despite having her earphones in her dog Berty alerted her to my calls. Rue must have been shocked she'd made it to the floor because she hadn't gotten far.
I may have to do Thin Lizzy's tape trick to make sure she never gets out of her ball. Glad Biscuit was caught safe and sound!

Fluffy escaped from his playbox! He must of managed to jump up to one of the handles! Luckily I spotted him under the sofa and after 15 mins he came out and I managed to pick him up! I'm just wondering what tasty morsels he may have found under there as I have 2 kids!
