I've adopted from P@H before but most recently I've adopted from preloved and gumtree. Last week I picked up a Syrian local to me who had been bought for kids who quickly lost interest, they also had a dog that harassed the poor girl. So three weeks after being bought from a shop she was adopted by me through gumtree. Another two I have came from preloved and they were in awful tiny cages and the old owners were moving. In each case I have offered a nominal amount compared to what people are asking but I have explained I am offering a good forever home and that I don't really want the cages they are in.
