She is so cute! I don't think my tutu (toothless's nick name by the way) has as much sass and energy as cc. In fact... I'm not sure if I know his personality... He's curious I think and likes to say hi, even though he isn't really tamed yet. He bites sometimes if my hand is in the tank or if I take him out when he doesn't want to be disturbed. Oh wait this was about CC... Yeah she's really cute!
Thin Lizzy carefresh is kinda my only option, the bulk recycled paper based ones like Fitch cost as much to ship here as they charge for the product, I can't justify it. But it works for me, Cc has her nest in a big pile of the confetti stuff, lined with tissue paper so I think she likes it! i haven't had any problems with it being dusty like some people have but it compacts quite easily and it's soooo expensive
Cc is absolutely not fully tamed yet either Hopefully, I don't think she's interested I had two very chill, calm Syrians when I was younger, they never bit me and I could handle them perfectly even though they were both from the pet shop and I had NO IDEA what I was doing. Compared to them Cc is mental, she does another weirdo thing every 2 days. Toothless is probably just a normal chill little dude (and he's a little beauty too)
We just had our first real bathtub time and she paid no attention to me or to the many treats I had procured specially, she just really wanted to pouch my second best yellow hand towel. She's a ham after her own mind! I let her do what she wants really though, if she wants to come out she can come out and if she doesn't then I don't push her, it definitely saves on bites but she'll be 3 before I get her "tamed"!
Someone isn't using her pee-mug anymore! I loved that potty litter stuff, it was so convenient and now I can smell pee and I have to remove so much bedding to get it all.
Shannon I love that idea, I thought she was getting an actual cracker biscuit with cucumber cheese!
Aww how cute was CeeCee getting through the cracker for her special treat!
Her coat looks so shiny!
I think I'll do this with Twinkle, she'll love the suspense in getting to the treat.
Just tried Cc on some new veggies! My shopping list works around her faaaar too often, why do I buy a whole cucumber every week then use 1/10th at most? Because I'm crazy.
Peas: OUT. I so wish I'd been able to video me trying to keep hold of the pea to offer it to her. She decided the fridge door made a scary noise so she was hiding in a tube and I dropped the pea three times trying to get it near her so she would come down. Stupid fiddly tiny pea! Once she got the pea she dropped it immediately then when I fished it out from behind her igloo she decided she doesn't like peas. Okay. That's fine.
Bussel Sprouts: IN! I had to double check they were okay for her and I'm so glad they are because I love them so much. Finally we agree on something! I think she would prefer hers raw instead of roasted with bacon but one of us has to be wrong sometimes.
Awake and sleep times and where poo is appropriate to throw (not on my floor, please) are still issues of contention but at least we have sprouts. She's sitting in her cage beside me atm getting used to tv noise before PROJECT: PLAYPEN begins this weekend when I get housemate to bring home some boxes from his work (that hopefully don't smell like chips or meat)
Pic of what she did to her two toilet roll crackers I left for her over Friday/Saturday when I was away. They did have a sheet of a4 paper round them but I suspect that's been shredded and used for bedding because I can't find it :/
