Yes, I thought the same thing! I gave her (and everyone else) some egg tonight and she hopped right in the bowl! Of course I didn't have my camera ready, otherwise I would have grabbed a few shots.
She and Biscotti are a match made in heaven, hehe!

I simply can't wait. I mean, Chai has to get bigger first. Biscotti is getting there, he'll be a good age by the time she's old enough. Right now he's currently chewing under his water bottle, and Chai is asleep. She was out earlier, and seems to be getting more used to me. She's still not 100% sure, but much less running (Pekoe too).

Re: Cha Cha Cha Chai~!
I'm pretty sure Chai and Java are in cahoots.
I apologise for bad quality photo, this was before my first day of school.
I found her like this again this morning, so I moved the bottle up so she couldn't get to the top. Then just now we thought Java was playing with her waterbottle.
Nope.
The bottle is now in the middle of the cage, and I'm going hunting for another bottle holder like Java's!

Beautiful addition!
Such a little monkey on that water bottle haha! She'd love my hammy, he's obsessed with climbing!
So how many hams do you own in total currently? (excluding your latest litter of pups until you know the numbers lol)

Re: Cha Cha Cha Chai~!
Seven permanent residents, two robos in transit and then Darissas babies.
Thanks! She's a cutie. Her "sister" Pekoe will get her own thread likely this week.

Re: Cha Cha Cha Chai~!
Wow what a busy home! I would really love to do that but don't think my SO would be on board with the idea haha. Whats your daily routine like with them all?
I bet its wonderful watching them all grow with their own unique personalities. Do you have a favorite?
Can't wait to see Pekoe's photos!

Re: Cha Cha Cha Chai~!
My SO is alright with it - when things are hectic, he doesn't like them taking my attention.
I'm home a lot during the week so it makes it a lot easier. I usually clean potties every other-2days (those that pee in them) and spot clean at least every other day. Water bottles get filled daily or every other, and everyone gets fed daily unless for some reason it's a very late night then it's just top ups as needed that evening before bed.
We handle all of them (usually) on a daily basis. Chai and Pekoe get handling twice daily at least. The robos are only here temporarily. The dwarf boys get handled most, Mocha being out more as he is more social and they're up during the day. Java, I aim for about 1hr or so out each night but can't always do that. Biscotti usually comes out for cuddles, but wakes up later, and I don't always want to disturb him. Darissa doesn't get handled, as she's with her pups.
As for favourites, my SO loves Mocha most. I can't choose as I love them all the same. Java is the most bonded with me, Mocha being second.

Loving the new pictures of Chai! What a cheeky girl she is!
I really hope she has an ideal temperament to breed from so her and Biscotti can have some pretty pups
Eeeeeep and Darissa had babies which is awesome!!
Managing with 7 permanent residents isn't so bad as it seems it's a good number for keeping you busy
