Whoops....

For the past two months I have been dreaming about getting a long haired dark grey female syrian... but wanting to wait till I move house at the end of June - so I have been trying to find pet shops / breeders / rescue centres that may have them when I am ready.....

Today I took my daughter to our local garden centre (we go pretty much every weekend because its lovely) and there in the pet department was the most gorgeous dark grey long haired syrian... oh no.... a month too early, but I have never seen one like that there before (and I am constantly on the look out!)....

So I asked to have a look and she was a girl... oh that was it.. there was no way I was leaving her behind! She is gorgeous... so a month earlier than planned we welcome PIXIE into our family

I have put her in an old Natro 200 and immediately ordered an Alaska from Zooplus and a ridiculous amount of lovely natural wooden toys I will post pictures once she is settled .. I AM SO HAPPY

Here is a picture of Pixie.. she is clearly a climber so going to love the Alaska... Im so please I've ordered hammocks too!
Went to see her this evening as she was awake and there is doubt she is used to humans, she came to the door and allowed me to stroke her without being bothered
