Default Is it the new house?

Hi,
I got my syrian, Pixie last Saturday and she was in a teeny tiny Natro 200 till the Alaska arrived today. She has been really friendly and coming up to the corner of the cage when she saw me... then today after I moved her into the Alaska she has been hiding.

She is currently behind the wheel - she has taken some carrot off me but its not like her - is it just the change in cage? Do you think that after a night of exploring she will back to her usual self tomorrow?

SHould I just leave her to it.... I hate seeing her hiding behind the wheel

She is prob just overwhelmed with new cage/toys.
Let her explore, get used to and mark/scent her new cage. Still talk to her and offer food, butlet her settle in to her new surroundings.

I would personally leave her to it for tonight at least, its probably very scary moving into a big bew cage. Saw your set up on the cages thread, its fab!! I bet she's going to be very happy in there!

Thank you for the reassurance.... She is out and about now moving quite slowly... and nibbling all the wood I will leave her tonight... she is in my room so I will keep chatting to her and hopefully tomorrow she will be less nervous!

I guess it must be quite wierd.. she has gone from a show box to a mansion!

xxx
