At least he'll be well looked after now for the rest of his life. That wheel must have been hard for him to climb up into as it's so high.

So glad you got him, really sad seeing that cage...reminds me of when I got my daisy as she was kept in an Argos starter cage for a year. Bet he's estatic with his new home xx

Re: Long Haired Male?
thanks all, we just looked in the bag of food that came with him to find choc drops and fruit biscuits added into it i've picked it all out so we can control his treats and have already put some of our food mix in the cage with his.
He's such a climber, if we didn't have the shelves in the alexander i'm sure he would have jumped top to bottom by now he's already jumped off the shelf a few times so were gonna extend it tomorrow hopefully so he cant jump far. it will make the bottom layer a little dark, but that's good for him i figure.

Re: Long Haired Male?
Totally missed that the first page was posted yesterday, and when I saw you mentioning your new hamster I went hunting through your posts to find this :3
He is soo cute! And he really must think he's in heaven now, I always feel so happy seeing them enjoying an appropriate wheel for the first time
I demand constant updates and pictures
