I haven't posted any pics of Poly for a while, so here goes!
He is getting very very fluffy now, and has gained an impressive skirt. He is still smaller than the others in his litter but we are glad he is getting bigger and has now reached 140g (a big acheivement for him ). He is a very active little man and spends all night hanging from the bars of his cage and running on his wheel.
Anyway here are lots and lots of pics (sorry some are from a while ago that I have forgotten to post)!
Napoleon on Boxing Day
This is the same pic but put on seamless tiling (I use it for my computer's desktop)
Napoleon on the 10th January
Napoleon on the 15th January
We gave the hams each a small piece of noodle ~ Poly really liked it!
Trying out the different functions on my camera (don't worry he hasn't really gone grey!)
Hope you like the pics!!!

It still sounds strange to me to hear of male hamsters having a 'skirt'! (what are the girl/boy terms for hamsters? As in, rat males are bucks and rat females are does.....)
He's rather gorgeous.

Good question hanlou. To be honest I do not think they have male/ female names and are just called males and females. I have never heard them called anything else. Its the same with baby hamsters. Some people call them pups, some kittens and some babies!
We call the skirt in LH males a Kilt!!
