Default Messy Huxley

Hi All,

Huxley is a really untidy hamster. When he is eating he just dives head first into his bowl & chucks the food all over the place!

So I have taken two pics just a few minutes ago as he got up for a few minutes to show you all.

Does anyone else's hamster/s do this?

Yep Issy does it every time the bowl is filled up - flicks it all over the sides and leaves a mess on the floor!

Glad he's not the only one!

Just cleaned him out & I bet it doesn't stay tidy for long.

Maisie puts her nose in and throws the food everywhere, then goes round later picking it up and putting it in her store. If I scatter feed her she looks at me as if to say 'for heavens sake mum, I just tidied and now youve made a mess' and wont come near me until shes picked every bit up lol

Yep Boris does the same. He kinda drives into his food dish with his leggies dangling over the sides and sticks his snout in and sort of snorts about in the bowl tossing the bits he doesnt want out of the dish with his nose!! Silly hammy!!

Bubbles also the same. She so messy everywhere. Like to dig thru her food bowl then kick them out.
