Default Stuff your cheeks full at the bridge Archibald

Archibald started his life on 6th October 2012....

He came home with me on the 23rd December after I had his 2 brothers a week before... I went back to where I got them and saw his sad little eyes looking at me and said 'please can I come have Christmas with you?' I gave in and took him home where he went into a Rody - my spare cage at the time.

How can you say no to that little face?

He was a very shy little man who grew in confidence very quickly, he loved exploring and climbing through holes

He was a ham that loved food and would eat anything! He was rather round and a bit of a chubster

Mealworms were the way to his little heart but mummy's flapjack was the ultimate treat

He loved to snuggle in my pink blanket - he was a very feminine boy but ssshhhh, don't tell the others!

He was soon given a bin cage so that I could give him what he loved - ooo, mummy what's up here??

He had a new cage mate but he wasn't happy with him, his face needed to come off!

He was an avid digger and I would often find him buried in odd places! But unfortunately this was the last photo of him looking good, the dreaded diabetes hit him and he got poorly fast, we started medications with little improvement so we tried others but it wasn't to be.

Today he has gone to the bridge as it was unfair for me to inject him daily when he needed to have his final sleep.

Have fun at the bridge little man stuff yourself with coconut and banana chips! We will miss you xxx

It hurts because you did not want the little one to hurt any more. Run and play free little one with the other beautiful hammies, but stop once in a while to blow your mum a kiss. Hugs to you and your mommy.
