I was wondering if one of the mods could make a thread to be stickied, where members could 'store' their tickers (the little things that count up from or down to birthdays or arrival days)

I'm not sure what you mean September? You can only have one banner on your signature so if it is one of those things that go at the bottom it seems a bit pointless to store it separately really. People forget about them and they over run and out of date.
By store, I just mean post the HTML code that would put it in your post, so you could still have a pretty signature picture (leedsgurl does great work!) and a ticker, and come back to the thread to see the ticker and how long it's been since you acquired your hammy, and such. If that's what you were confused about. Though I could see what you mean about people forgetting them.
