My mini zoo!

Just some pics of most of the other members of my mini zoo

Apart from Chibs and Riff Raff, my Syrians, and Jareth the dwarf.

Boe and Jack (just after a bath, hence the not too happy expressions!!)

Drake (one of my 11 mice!). He's the tamest

Half of them are recent rescues, so still working on gaining their trust.

They're all lovely but I'm very taken with Drake and Falkor. I always go and have a look at the axolotl when I'm at my local fish shop. Live their happy little faces

Drake is an absolute sweetheart

He's the only one I can take out and have sitting with me on the couch while I do absolutely anything. I love that you've heard of axolotls. So many people haven't!

I would definitely recommended axolotls! That's a shame they're illegal over there

I think there are regulations depending on states because some people make responsible owners look bad by doing terrible things like releasing species that aren't even native

Something like an axolotl wouldn't survive in the climate there anyways most likely,which makes the whole situation with that incredibly questionable but of course there are many questionable laws and regulations regarding exotics!It could also be due to them being as far as I'm aware an endangered species in the wild,but there are obviously ways around that to make it irrelevant just like what is done with captive parrots where they have to be captive bred and such,but that's probably not on any politician's radar so it isn't likely a thing that will be changed.

i think its due to the extreme heat but im not quite sure i agree its such a shame their so cool
