Pondering a leopard gecko...
I've had this empty 10 gallon tank for a while, and there is this resounding need to fill it with a critter, or critters.
Well, I've bounced back and forth from animal to animal, and now want a leopard gecko. I've read that they can live quite happily in a 10 gallon tank. I have a mesh lid for it too. So, now all I need is a hide or two and maybe something to use as a liner for substrate.
I still have thinking to do though. I don't quite know if I want one just yet.

Aww, that's cool, Holly!! I love looking at all the reptile things. I actually bought a few things intended for reptiles, and love them! Use them for my hamsters. One is a rock looking, water well.. Looks really neat, however the water doesn't really flow well from the bottle, so I use it to put ham treats in.. .

Re: Pondering a leopard gecko...
I support that decision. I got my leopard gecko when she was a baby, she lived in a 10 gallon tank with a cave, basking rock, water bowl, plants, heat light, repti-sand happily for almost 14 years. She was 13.5 yrs. when she died! She was very tame so I took her out every day. If you have any general questions about care, please feel free to message me. I can answer any questions you may have!

I hope you do; they are so sweet . For substrate I would suggest Repti Carpet; and don't forget the calcium and heating pad (pretty much the top 2 things people forget).
