Re: Prenant gerbils :D
Good luck with all the babies.
I hope you have tanks ready for when the babies are ready to be separated from mums, sexed and put into boys/girls groups.
I'm sure you don't want even more babies!

Re: Prenant gerbils :D
Hope everything goes well I have recently been studying gerbil genetics as I may consider breeding hamsters or gerbils in the future when I have space, money, time etc but for now I'm sticking with studying as much about breeding as possible although it does get confusing

Re: Prenant gerbils :D
Any female babies that arrive can safely stay with their mother. Any baby males can stay as a brotherly group or in pairs. They may even be introduced back to their dad as a single baby boy or more, but that would depend on his character and whether he`s a laid back lad or insecure and more likely to feel threatened by them. Many single adult males are very good with baby gerbils that are very young as they don`t see them as a territorial threat, but any male introductions are still best done using the split tank method just to be 100% safe.
I love gerbils. I kept them a while back and still miss keeping them. x
