Default Healing thoughts for Anuli Acacia Rat

Hi,

Please send healing thoughts for Anuli my Acacia Rat. Anuli has been badly injured by her mate and has needed surgery this morning.

Anuli has had her tail amputated close to the base of the spine and has extensive bites and bruising from the middle of her back to her tail stump. She also has nerve damage to her right back leg which could be temporary or permanent.

When I collected her from the vet she was just coming around from the aneasthetic. She woke up fully on the journey home with me stroking her head. She is now in a hospital tank and is on courses of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories for a few days.

The main danger is that she will chew her tail stump. If she does and fails to let it heal I won't be able to save her as she doesn't have any more tail to lose.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for this special character.

Heather.

Hi,

Thanks for your kind wishes.

Anuli has done well overnight, but is still subdued. She spent time sitting on my lap last night and was snuggling her head and fron paws into my hand. She is wanting lots of re-assurance and cuddles.

She has eaten a little overnight and will hopefully be tempted with some tasty treats later.

It will be a while before I know whether the nerve damage in Anuli's back leg and foot is temporary or permanent. So far Anuli has left her tail stump alone and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she continues to leave her tail stump alone.

Heather.
