Their new owner is a biker called Jeff, he's an acquaintance of my dad and has a lot of experience with rats so I know they're going to a good place, but i think I got a bit too attached heh. He does live less than a five minute walk from my dad though so you never know, I might get to visit some time. Ironically, they now live in the street next to the one my dog lived in before he came to me. It's a small world :P
It is hard though, they've both come such a long way since coming to me, and we got very attached to each other. and the dog was quite taken with them too
I would have kept them if I felt that I could, but I feel that Jeff can give them more than I can. Obviously I have given them everything they need, I would never neglect them, but over a lifetime... they're better off with Jeff.

It is
My mom keeps reminding me that I took them in in the first place because I wanted to find them their forever home, and now i've done that. I know she's right but it still hurts.
