Morning
Thanks so much for these kind reples
Things look better after a sleep, a write-down, and of course, after being shared with others.
The play - that's fantastic if you can come and see it, cathface! Do you live in Scotland then? Lougarry, I'll try and get pics - there are some on my facebook site (facebook.com/catherinewheel.sparkler) - especially in my group "Katiana Was Here - Sunrise Theatre". The facebook group gives information about the play and its creation as well, but am happy to answer any questions here too (as long as people don't mind it sounding a little like a plug as a result!) It's going to be on at the Out Of The Blue Drill Hall (Studio Theatre), 36 Dalmeny Street (just off Leith Walk), from 16th-18th of August at 6pm. There will be tickets at the door but if you want to reserve any the email address is
[email protected]
Lougarry, yeah that's it - the pyometra - mostly because there doesn't seem to be any preventative measures to take, and I've never had a ham with it before. But there's no point in fretting is there?
Yeah, they do seem so fragile, and their littleness and quickness and wrigglability! Even when you've had one, it's a new process getting to know the next one and their little quirks and what is normal for them. Think it's unsettling me that she's at the pet shop and I can't care for her or see her until Tuesday - so in a sense it is easily remediable!
Funny isn't it, how thinking about bin cages is motivating, but thinking about making one YOURSELF can suddenly seem scary
I guess once all the materials and tools are there, it seems more manageable too
