Shelving unit Question's

ive been meaning to get a shelving unit for a while to put all the ham cages on. ive found one in argos which looks rather nice and its a good size too, but i was wandering if anyone has the same shelving unit as i need to know if a HH would fit in it with the tubes on the top, if not do you have to set the unit up with all the shelves in it?

I can't open the link, but think i've found the one you mean, i have the 3 shelf version so can't help with measurements.... but....

Its awful (sorry) if you so much as nudge it, it practically falls over, the wardrobe in the same style i had to refix together twice, the shelves because they are slatted are uneven and make it impossible to stand anything straight on them.

Ours was put together by my father in law, who is a joiner by trade, so i know we didn't do it wrong - in total we have 2 3 shelf units, 2 wardrobes, and 2 bedside cabinets, and so far the bedside cabinets are the only items that haven't needed fixing.

They are great as occasional use storage (one of ours now has stuff we hardly use in it) and if tightened monthly, its really useful, but i wouldn't trust ham cages on it - sorry

ooh dear i see, so they are not up to much then. hmm time to start searching again thanks for the feadback on it, i think i may have to get one from bigdug as they seem reliable.
