Recomended Books
Hey guys, I'll keep this short and sweet here
I was wondering if you could/would recomend me some books? (i'm 14 )
I like all books, I have read the Hunger Games, ( I would totoally recommend it, 5 stars!!) Harry Potter, (which, as you all know, is amazing) and alot of other series. No twilight though. I like the movies, but not so much the books.

Re: Recomended Books
His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman (Northern Lights/The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass)
The Old Kingdom trilogy by Garth Nix (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen - the last two are fab)
The Rich Are Different by Susan Howatch (the story of Cleopatra transposed to the 1920s)
The Beach by Alex Garland

Re: Recomended Books
Ooh also Holly Lisle's Secret Texts trilogy, although it's gruesome and you'll need a strong stomach! Diplomacy of Wolves, Vengeance of Dragons and Courage of Falcons.

Re: Recomended Books
the whole narnia set (again and again and again lol)
Jodi Picoult has some amazing books, but they do make you cry in parts (and laugh), they are fiction but touch on real issues in life.
I'd vote for LOTR too, but if your not to into them, try just the hobbit, it really is incredible.

Well my first choice is always Sherlock Holmes...they really are fab.
I also love Nicolas Sparks' books and Cathy Glass, she is a foster carer and has written some fab books about the childen she's taken care of.xx

Re: Recomended Books
I love Alison Croggon's Pellinor books (The Gift, The Riddle, The Crow and The Singing). Another vote for His Dark Materials and Garth Nix here too! I'm not keen on LOTR but enjoyed The Hobbit.

Re: Recomended Books
If you like the Hunger Games, I recommend the Bachman Books by Stephen King. The Running Man and The Long Walk are excellent.
