it's turning to ice already here

was -14 when I left for work this morning! I so didn't want to leave the house!

Just spoke to my dad though who lives in blaengarw in bridgend and he's spending his 2 days off work snowed in cos they can't get out of the valley!

Awww hope your ok Faerydae, *hugs* I fell yesterday on the way to the shops, I wanted to go in the postoffice but my feet decided the greengrocers would be better lol xxx

well its official- i hate it!

I attempted to go to town..it was horrible and whats worse the shops were dangerous,the wet on the laminate floors..i was slipping all over...worse thing, i got this lift down and then fell walking out the lift

On plus finally got my ham and meat so just missing potatoes and roule cheese! think the snow is getting to eliott as he isnt very perky and quite short tempered with me...its putting everyone in a bad mood..people in town, on the street!

whats more...just read that arriva train drivers may strike on 27th- the day i plan to go home!!! seems im fated to just not see my family this year

on a plus- a strike due for thurs on the trains is cancelled so me and el can hopefully catch the last day of the german market and eat some frankfurters ^_^

oh and i got the decs up tonight- not as many as im accustomed too...but apparently a bathroom doesnt need tinsel in it...(i think it does) humbug! x

I'm not going in work today, thought I was ok after my fall yesterday but I've woke up this morning in pain all over

I'm in today as well. I finish up for a break tomorrow and have an admin day to catch up on the paperwork. Thankfully the main roads are much better now up here - its just the side roads that are the real problem.

I was driving down a road yesterday and there were cars parked on each side, as I came to the bottom to go round the corner I saw 2 cars parked on the opposite side of the corner. I thought, you could easily slide into them on the roads. I did slide round the corner but didn't hit them - thank you angels. Will be pleased when it all clears up finally.

Fingers crossed Amethyst - all will be well for your trip home.

Faery - I think a day of rest is a good plan - take it easy.

Snow is awful here! Hasn't stopped for about two days now, its come down really heavy as well, and the temps just arent rising
