Default Rabbit living in my back garden

Not sure where it came from but for a few weeks we've been seeing rabbits in the back garden, there was a really big one and 2 little ones, a black one and brown one, think the big one and black one have left now as I've not seen them for a while but my neighbour has since blocked the hole where they managed to get in so don't think the little brown one can leave so he's happily set up home in the back garden and it's so cute!

Managed to get pretty close to it without it running away like it normally does so thought I'd snap some pics and thought I'd share

An abandoned or escaped pet? Looks like a lionhead.

that's what I thought, especially as a woman at the end of my street had babies that looked exactly like these a couple of months ago, impossible to catch though, it runs VERY fast if you get within a few feet of it

Bless its heart. The same thing actually happened to me exactly two weeks ago. I was walking my dogs in my apartment complex and saw a rabbit. I asked my neighbor to hold the dogs while I went to see the rabbit.. She hopped up to me, sniffed me, and I scooped her up! Her name is Tuesday.

I'm gonna ask the woman at the end of my street later if one of hers has got out I think, cos in summer during the day they had free roam of the garden that she'd converted into like a giant bunny paradise

if not, if I manage to catch it I'll take it to a shelter because unfortunately I have no room to keep it

Maybe get someone to help you catch it, use boards and try and corner it and scoop it up with a towel and pop in in a box. If it is not that ladys deffinatley take it to shelter, it is not a wild rabbit, and I dobut it will survive very long on his own. Maybe put some food and water out for it in the mean time. Hope you manage to get it sorted out
