RIP Penny
After posting about the new adoptions there is bad news Last night Ilost my penny girl. Penny was a golden syrian hamster. She was only about 5 months old. She's always been a very stressed out hamster so she lived in our room to keep it quiet. She was never tame and we could hardly touch her but I loved her all the same. Because she wasn't handle able we bought a book shelf to convert into a huge cage for her. I'm sad we never got the chance. Friday I almost let a friend take her s=home but I decided she was better off with us. yesterday I noticed she hadn't touched her food and I was watching her but she seemed fine. I don't think she was sick or in any pain I think it was just stress so I'm glad she went curled up in her house asleep. I miss her but I know she didn['t suffer. RIP penny girl <3

Sorry for your loss. I'm sure she knew you loved her.

Re: RIP Penny
I'm so sorry for your loss Sometimes they leave us far too soon for reasons we'll never be able to explain. But you gave her the best life, even in her short time.
Sending my thoughts and prayers x

Re: RIP Penny
Sorry sweety you lost your little one... But like you said, sheleft curled up somewhere she felt comfy and safe... Being nervous like she was, that's like the best way to leave for the for ever calm ans safe Bridge... You were great with her and respected her little self... Be blessed for that...
Enjoy the Bridge, little princess...

Re: RIP Penny
It just sucks because I was so happy I ended up with her and not someone who wouldn't have understood and I was prepared to spoil the hell out of her and we lost her. I wish I could have had her for much longer. but I'm satisfied I did the best I could
