Greeting from Lithuania!
Hi everyone!
Less than a week ago I got a male Syrian hamster, rather unplanned (note: I had been watching tons of hamster care videos before getting him, so I was rather prepared)
Long story short, I accidentally saw an ad on a local site similar to craigslist. This little ham was sitting in a tiny cage (around 10*20 cm, I'm telling you), its bars were chewed on, and the ham didn't look happy. I couldn't stop thinking about him and eventually called the seller. The lady said they "didn't want" to take care of him anymore... So we arranged a meeting. They brought the ham in a small bucket swinging it back and forth harshly
Anyways, now he's a beloved part of our family, and I hope we'll be able to make his life as happy as possible
Meet my baby - Sesame Seed, or just Seed.
Nice to meet you all!

Hi & welcome to HC
What a gorgeous little guy, it's sad that he's had such a hard start in life but great that you found him & he now has the loving home he deserves.
Look forward to seeing more of him.

Re: Greeting from Lithuania!
Hi and welcome to HC! Seed is utterly adorable, and I love his coloring and expression. It is so very heartbreaking that he had to live in that condition previously, but he is now thankfully in your loving and attentive care. I am sure that he will thrive and be so happy now that you have giving him his forever home with you. I look forward to seeing you around the forum and getting to know your precious, handsome Seed. Have an amazing time with your little ham-darling, and please share more pics whenever you have a chance and he is settled in more. Btw, Eros poked her head out of her nest and waved to Seed.

Re: Greeting from Lithuania!
Hello and Welcome to Hamster Central. It so wonderful to hear that you have given Sesame Seed the wonderful loving home he deserves. It was so sad to hear how he was previously treated by his former owner but I'm so glad to hear that he will receive endless amount of love from you now. Seed is also so very handsome!
