Re: Hello frnds i'm a beginner
that's a lot of sunflower seeds over the course of a week, I would cut her down a fat hamster isn't great, I she can have lots of other healthy treats instead, Grapes
Melon
Kale
Cucumber
Sweetcorn/corn on the cob
Peas
Carrots
Apple
Banana
Celery
Grass
Broccoli
Cauliflower and Cauliflower greens
Dandelion leaves
Beansprouts
In the wild your hamster would also eat insects. You can provide the protein that your hamster needs by giving your pet any of the following foods.
Dry cat food (poultry kitten kibble is ideal)
Cooked chicken or turkey
Crickets or mealworms (live, canned or freeze-dried)
Scrambled or boiled egg

Re: Hello frnds i'm a beginner
POLAR WHITES don't forget she's either a Chinese or hybrid (not sure we really established which yet!) so out of that list she really shouldn't have the grapes, melon, sweetcorn, peas, carrots, apple, banana. Totally agree with everything else there (no live mealworms though, they bite!), you could add a few pumpkin seeds (in the shell if possible) & a monkey nut, peanut in the shell, once every week or two.
I'd say more like 5 or 6 sunflowers seeds is plenty, she's probably still growing so if you can keep an eye on her weight, you can adjust what you feed as she grows & gains weight.

Re: Hello frnds i'm a beginner
A hybrid hamster is a mixture of a Winter White and a Campbell's, for food I feed my hamsters a little less than a tablespoon of food per day, however if they still have a lot of food left over in their bowl I may feed them slightly less, or if they don't have much food left I may give them a little more, it just depends really, but usually somewhere around 1 tablespoon is enough. My hybrid gets cucumber, lettuce, rocket, cress, spinach, bell pepper, cheese (not very often though), egg, courgette and radish are the main ones. The seeds are ok, just don't feed them too often as they're treats after all, I tend to either give one to my hamster after he's been out, or sometimes I hide a couple around his cage for him to find.
