Hi and welcome to the forum! 
To attach pics, when you make a post scroll down and click on 'Upload Attachment' next to Options. Then simply choose the file you want and click 'Add the file'!

You need to resize your pics to 600 pixels width then they should be fine. Looking forward to seeing them.
