Exclamation Meet Coco Bandicoot

So I have quite a dramatic story to tell...
It all started yesterday when I visited my cousins. I went to Poland few weeks ago and in that time my cousins decided to get hamsters. I told my mother to tell them NOT to get two and that they should wait 'til I get back from my trip. Naturally, they didn't wait and got two hamsters from a pet shop from supposedly same litter.
Yesterday when I went to see them, I noticed they were a male and a female Russian dwarf hamsters so I separated them immediately. My uncle suddenly saw having two small cages as a huge problem and told me that he would set the female free into the wild. Naturally I went berserk because it was their mistake for not listening to me in the first place and that it's a pathetic "solution".

Good news: Coco Bandicoot is now officially my hamster.
Bad news: I don’t have a big spare cage and am really broke as I have to get books for my uni now. I will buy her a wheel today, but that’s about it (I do have a spare house, food bowl and a water bottle). I’m really worried that I won’t be able to provide her with what she needs (a big cage) cause IKEA is on the other side of the country and cages in petshops here are $$$$$$, but I think it’s better for me to have her than what was supposed to be her future - letting her out in the wild just to be killed by a cat or something… I am also afraid of Coco being pregnant, but they look really young so maybe there's hope she's not. If she ends up being pregnant, I'm gonna need a lot of help from you guys.
Anyway, here she is:

She is stunning! Absolutely beautiful!
Good job on taking her in, don't worry about the cage for now, you did save the tiny thing and she is lucky to stay with someone that cares so much!

I love the name too! Crash bandicoot was my favourite game as a kid (:

I'm sure that everyone will help the best they can if she's unlucky to be pregnant. Try not to stress yourself!

I've got an escape artist here! I just came back home and whilst I was adjusting Yuki's new wheel, I noticed something with the corner of my eye rushing under the bed. I thought I was imagining it and continued my work when suddenly Coco came to me from under my bed...
Thank god I have all paths leading behind my closets blocked as I've learned my lesson with my first hamster.
I can't imagine how on earth did she manage to get out the bin cage... I suppose she climbed on her house and since it's a bin cage somehow managed to climb over, but it's pretty tall and none of my previous hamsters have ever done that. I removed the house now and will secure the top corners somehow with books. What a hammy girl

Good golly, Coco is absolutely beautiful!
Thank goodness you were there when your uncle suggested letting her into the wild, good on you for taking her into your care. Please stop worrying about not being able to provide her with a bigger cage.
What you have her in will do for a while until you can get some money together, I hate saying this but Christmas isn't far away and maybe you could ask for money as gifts.
I did laugh at her escaping, what a little rascal.
