So I have quite a dramatic story to tell...
It all started yesterday when I visited my cousins. I went to Poland few weeks ago and in that time my cousins decided to get hamsters. I told my mother to tell them NOT to get two and that they should wait 'til I get back from my trip. Naturally, they didn't wait and got two hamsters from a pet shop from supposedly same litter.
Yesterday when I went to see them, I noticed they were a male and a female Russian dwarf hamsters so I separated them immediately. My uncle suddenly saw having two small cages as a huge problem and told me that he would set the female free into the wild. Naturally I went berserk because it was their mistake for not listening to me in the first place and that it's a pathetic "solution".
Good news: Coco Bandicoot is now officially my hamster.
Bad news: I don’t have a big spare cage and am really broke as I have to get books for my uni now. I will buy her a wheel today, but that’s about it (I do have a spare house, food bowl and a water bottle). I’m really worried that I won’t be able to provide her with what she needs (a big cage) cause IKEA is on the other side of the country and cages in petshops here are $$$$$$, but I think it’s better for me to have her than what was supposed to be her future - letting her out in the wild just to be killed by a cat or something… I am also afraid of Coco being pregnant, but they look really young so maybe there's hope she's not. If she ends up being pregnant, I'm gonna need a lot of help from you guys.
Anyway, here she is:
