I think people hand them in to P@H when same sex pairings begin to fight and, invariably, one hamster will suffer. I think that's what happened to my Chinese - she had a bit of scarring when I got her.

He is beautiful! In an ideal world people would be given the correct info and be prepared for a falling out and be ready with another cage. *sigh* It's not an ideal world, but at least you found this little one and his little world has just gotten better . His coloring is just stunning; I love the stripey pattern he has.
