Cool All Change! All Change!

So as you know I was in hospital..I don't know if ive told you all but I have to take a year out from uni to "rest". This is not exactly my life plan but I guess it will be for the best. I just have to find a job now but some Rhi has helped me with my CV & i'm just waiting for my tutors address to use as a reference then i'm applying to the sealife centre and just for pets

Anyway, I seem to have taken to cleaning and rearranging and doing all the jobs I have been meaning to do the past year now I realise that I have nothing to do! I am like a woman possessed. I can now get under my stairs..I now have some gorgeous satin purple curtains in my bedroom and I ordered some Disney on Ice tickets for November (while i have money atm and something to look forward to!).

I also decided that Pumpkin was being a bit ignored and he wasn't happy so I finished off the bin cage I was doing for Bear. I moved Bear into the cambridge and Indy well bless him, he is starting to lose his hair but he seems happy enough so he got some carrot ^_^

Firstly Pumpkin then. This is not how I imagined the bin to be but since moving in he doesn't chew the bars and seems to really enjoy it. He has borrowed Gizmo's puzzleplayground...I think Gizmo wouldn't have minded. I did buy a long wood bridge but I think i will save it. I think I may add another bin on top but so far I am really pleased. He also started going in his wheel again and I managed to get an 8" savic which went down a treat tonight (the colour is far from fab but you all know how hard it is to find large wheels that arn't wodents!) So hope you can make out how everything is, bit hard to photo a bin

He has taken to monkey barring now too!

Added the ladder tonight and so far he likes to climb over it

Default Bears Cambridge

And now for Bear. He has gotten so so big, he's not fat just big! The cage he was in normal size but i felt bad he couldn't move much. I didn't want to wrestle with the yellow shelf that was broken so here is what i've done for him. He used to sleep in a box in the open but the space pod thing he loves..i do not know how he gets through the little hole on top..me and my bf watched in absolute amazement!! I noticed tonight he has started storing his food in there as well I got a wooden long ladder but the cambridge bars are verticle so having bit of trouble fitting it in how i want but again i love the new set up and he has space to move now!!! Not many pics but here he is

(ps. i know u all love pics so you better like this thread hehe!)

That black blob is Bear with his food store...how he fits in there is still beyond me!

It's blurred sorry but look at the hole in the background on the right..!!!!

Ignore the badge..he broke his hammock and was the only pin i could find lol
The hammock is new tonight so we'll see how that goes

Pumpkin settled in fine again lol

So there ya go..I have loads more toys that came with the cambridge. But does anyone know what this is..i can't figure it out!

That is, obviously, a big, plastic, pink booby. And don't worry - everyone's got a cannabis badge knocking around somewhere!

The pictures are fab and well done for getting everything sorted! Don't worry about missing a year from uni - I missed two! It's great that you've sorted out what you're doing and you're not wasting it. I just finished my degree and am starting to sort out my woeful CV. A job is needed if I ever want to apply for a MSc. ¬_¬ Eugh. Work. Also, my CV looks dumb. It reads: bar, bar, lab, bar, brief time at a pharmacy, bar.

I passed my test in two months. If you can book your theory, pass it, book lessons and have 4 hours every week. Within two months you'll be ready for the test. I guarantee it! It's just expensive.

Goodluck with the job searching! You can take time over your degree - it's not as if you're growing old!

the degree is just annoyin cos of the prices they charge. still i guess everythin happens for a reason... x

I understand the stress. My bf couldn't get a job after uni last year. Living in London wih no money is not easy! Still, how insane are we to be up at this hour? I'm watching some saved programmes due to dumb migraine - what's your excuse?

Hey Hunny, glad that you are keeping yourself busy, and not getting too down about the year off. You seem to be putting the time to excellent use!!

The new set ups or Bear and Pumpkin are great, the bin cage is excellent, looks really neat. The cambridge is looking good it is certainly crammed ith goodies!! Hehehe! Boris has a cyber house too - he takes all of his food in there too! The opening on the top level is pretty small, Boris only just manages to heave his great behind through, so goodness knows how bear manages!

As for the pink thing - I have seen them before, I think that they are supposed to have something attached to them, some tubing or something?? Ill have a looksee on the net and see what I can find for you.

Good luck with your job hunt - I hope that you get the one you want. Look at this this way - now you have a year off you can spend a whole year doing stuff that YOU want to do, try to have a stress free (haha!) year and then be back fighting fit for your degree nesxt year Oh and congrats on the first by the way!! x x x x x x
