Default imac fantasy for dwarfs?????

hi

i have not been on here for ages but im wondering if i could put a pair of dwarf hammys in my imac fantasy. it has one extention on it. i have two hammys who are both old men now. some of you might remember ellis and edgar. this is only a plan for when my old men go to rainbow bridge so hopefully not soon but i know they are getting old boys now. these two are syrians with an imac each.

i would love to hear from anybody who has dwarfs in an imac and if they get on okay in it. i just worried about the fighting side of things as i dont want fall outs! will they scrap? i have googled this and there seems to be alot of dwarf pairs out there in imacs.

anybody got dwarf pairs in an imac??

i have not been on hear for ages as i have had my other animals taking up my time and energy as i bought a donkey to keep my old pony company and she foaled 6 weeks ago. we did not know she was pregnant!

thanks for any feedback,

ellisyellis

I've only ever housed dwarfs in a single level (not even including the attic) imac, but had no probems with that.

Hello,
i was also thinking about this cage when i was buying one for my winter white. I didnt buy it because i read that:
the tube is not ideal for dwarfs to climb
they get territorial when there are levels in the cage

so i decided not to risk and bought a normal cage, because i wanted to avoid the tubes... you might want to avoid levels.
But please wait for opinions of more experienced ones

anything other than a chinese wouldn't be able to climb the tubes. Right at the top, the tube goes almost vertical. no chance for a little fury-footer.

Actually WW have no problem with the tubes...i've used the cage + extension for single WWs several times. I also had a big tubby robo who managed them fine - but littlies didn't cope.

I think as long as they are adults its OK. A friend of mine has Poppet in one, and replaced the tubes with ladders...keep watching to see the ladders.

hahahaha that would be me lol

but yeah he is fine, but if you had more than one I don't know if they might fight or get territorial or something! Poppet couldn't get up the tubes and still refuses to even now, but I'm not sure if that might be because he only has one eye so he can't judge distances very well or something

But those wooden bridge thingies that are in the video are great and I actually think they look nicer/take up less space in the cage than the tubes
