I don't think they are which is a shame. I've just seen that Twilight Chinchillas ship internationally but they're closed for the summer.
I'll have to check back another time to see what their prices are like.

Yes they ship internationally but are closed for the summer. They re-open in Autumn though!

EllaJohnson was he already named Pantalaimon or did you name him that? Because I LOVE IT either way, looks like your rescue robo has landed on his feet nicely.

Is that fluffy bedding I see in the wicker nest? Even nature pod fluffy bedding is very dangerous and can be fatal if Hammy gets tangled in it or ingest it. Can offer Loo Tissue paper in it's place unscented and not colored.

Re: Let's See Your Cages (May 2016)
I was just going to ask the same Nancy! It's a lovely set up - lucky Robo - but any fluffy bedding is dangerous and there are some awful stories of illness and death after it being swallowed, or legs having to be amputated and so on. As Nancy says - best to use plain white sheets of toilet paper torn into strips and put a pile in the cage somewhere. Hammies like to pouch it and take it to their nesting area and build a nest with it, so it helps them with normal behaviours too. Charlie sometimes used to weave beautfiul nests with it!
I also wondered if the flying saucer might be a bit safer on top of the substrate instead of the rock less far to fall and a soft landing then. They can fly off them!
Sorry if we sound picky lol! It's a lovely big set up for your little Robo and all that substrate to dig in too - excellent stuff.
Edit: I think the fluffy stuff is Kapok as there's a pod in the background. Although natural it is still a risk as it can't be broken down easily if digested.

Agree with Nancy and Serendipidity about the Kapok pod, although it's natural the fluffy bedding is very dangerous nonetheless
You have a lovely big setup for your Robo, I'd love to put my Robos in a setup like that (or bigger!) if they weren't so agoraphobic

The pod is left over from my rats. Pan also has tissue paper and jay cloth as bedding options.
As for the wheel, it started off on the substrate but the little darling wanted to tunnel under it, and then sulked when it didn't work! I'm confident he doesn't fly off though.
Thanks for all the comments!
