Default Is this good?

I've been looking for a cage for Daisy- and I found something on Ebay in the US finally! It looks like it has some kind of Imac Fantasy thing going on? What do you guys think? I'm really excited if it turns out to be something good!

Looks nice, just if Daisy is new and in the process of being tamed, the tubes are not a great idea as she will more than likely hide in them if she gets nervous, so you will probably have to take them out at first. Does look like she'll enjoy it though with all the levels, just remember to add some toys for her to play with

Cool! Yeah, she's been with me for about 4 weeks, but she was already tamed when I got her so the tubes don't worry me.

I'm sorry but that really is very small for a syrian or even for any small rodent. Have you compared the length & width of the cage to yourself? as this is really tiny (only 1.3m long & 0.75 deep) this wouldn't really give a hamster much room to run about.

A better option would be to go for a jack 72 or something larger to give your hamster the room she needs!

What kind of cage is she in at the moment?

I was literally about to message back saying the same as Molly above-I agree, after looking at the dimensions, it is far too small! 16" is just about the length of a computer keyboard and a syrian will not enjoy a cage so small!

Aim for the biggest one you can afford.

Its a little small, BUT...there are 2 levels, and she's sleeping in it for most of the day, its at night you need to worry about

So putting extra toys and of course, a wheel, would be perfect

If you really cant go for anything bigger, than thats a perfect cage, I love the top bit, its a bit like the penthouse on the hamster heaven cage

I didn't even look at the dimensions! I was also looking at the Jack 72 and 62 so I'll just go back to looking at those. IF I did get the Ebay cage she's out in her run around ball for about an hour a day anyway.
