Shade is beautiful. I love black and black and white hammies.

@Basil

So glad there are other hockey fans here. Tampa has a good team, though no one could of predicted they'd be as good as they have been this season while they didn't have Stamkols. Pretty amazing there. Rangers are also good, especially Lundqvist.

I think my favorite team is pretty obvious assuming you know who the Canadiens were facing the other night. lol I mean no insults towards them though, their also a very good team. I'm much more frustrated with my team.

I mean, we come back from 3-0 down and tie the game at three, and then we allow them to score two more goals? Give me a break. Sad because I know we are so much better than that.

As for 3AM, I'm always up that late, or a little later.

And as BG said, hockey is never off-topic, least not when conversing with me.

@ BG

You don't like what it has become? Care to elaborate please? For the most part, I think its a good game. Surprised they haven't banned fighting yet though. The Commissioner will very likely be the death of this league, or at least its fan base. And thanks for the recommendation!

Shade is pretty solo, he likes to do things his way or the highway. Makes taking care of him so fun lol. Compared to the other two hamster's i've ever had, I'd say he is very different. He is also very sweet and adorable.

Regarding Shade, if anyone has any tips on clipping his nails, I'd greatly appreciate it. He doesn't like it one damn bit. lol and he doesn't stay still for very long, ever, so that says how hard it is. Just a little bit ago, I was able to clip a few of the nails, but that was it. He retracts his legs way too swiftly lol.

His nails are so long, they almost scratch you.

@DrKMcK

Thanks DrK! I love how just his paws are white, along with the line on his belly.

It is a good game! All the problems I have with it you pretty much nailed in one sentence, and it's not the fighting

Hahaha. That was too easy BG.

No one likes that guy, least I've never heard anyone say they like him. His politics suck, along with his character, which is the primary factor for me disliking him.

Speaking of hockey, my team plays the worst team in the league tonight, the Buffalo Sabres. If we don't win, we don't necessarily deserve to make the playoffs. :S

Now sticking to the actual subject of this thread, Shade is back in his aquarium and seems to be doing fine. Haven't had a chance to go out and get more toys, but plan on doing it soon. He hasn't been chewing any sealant, and he hasn't been trying to climb the walls anymore.

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about bar chewing anymore. Usually get him out for at least an hour a day, put him in his ball or play with him myself.
