I so agree with you there. I'd love lots of these..like lots and lots

I know, so would I . I'd probably buy two, one for both Dusty and Willow. Then of course I'd have a spare barney and alaska

its amazing I love it where did you buy it from? It's so much better with the narrow bars so they can't climb through. Luckily for me my hamsters a big long Syrian hamster and cant fit through the bars.

It would be great if Amazon reduced the cage price again to allow a few more people to get one. It is strange why it would be a lower price and then rise like that, but they obviously have their reasons for it. But it`s disappointing that they keep cages like this too high in price for most people to consider buying one because at the end of the day, this is the sort of environment/enrichment small animals really need to be happy, yet companies are still selling Rotastak and similar housing and convincing people that`s all they require.

The Fun Leon cage is made by the same manufacturer and is sold on Zooplus, so this cage could appear on other websites too in the future. It will be a matter of searching it out I suppose!

Would the bar spacing be suitable for dwarves just the way it is without meshing? Thanks.

I would say yes. celmoy could give you more information about the bar spacing as she has the cage. The member I know on the mouse forum who bought one bought it to keep mice in and mice require narrow bar spacing. It states 8mm bar spacing on the Amazon page, so that would be safe for mice and all dwarf hamsters. x

Even Chinese? That would be great as I am looking for a cage that could be used for Syrians and dwarves as I have both and like to swap cages round every so often.

Sorry everyone, had to pop out for a bit.

@Bella2013, I bought it from the link racinghamster posted at the start of this thread! It was £48 when I got it though, they've put the price up now

@chinesehammy, the bar spacing is by my measurements 7mm, but I don't know what the recommended spacing for dwarf hammies is, sorry!

I'll post a new thread in cage reviews with all the measurements so it's a little easier for people to find them. But in the meantime to show how gigantic it is, here's a picture of my parents' German Shepard/greyhound cross lying next to the cage!
