Gabbers water
Just got a new Gabber Rex and am struggling to fit my water bottle onto those holes that in a very weird way!! Anyone found any bright ideas about how to fix a good bottle on there? Thanks

Re: Gabbers water
you put the spout through the hole in the side and then directly above, on the roof, are 2 smaller holes. These are to thread a wire or something into, to hold the bottle on.

Re: Gabbers water
If you have a look here at the cage review section you can see how others have fixed the water bottle

Hope this helps

Re: Gabbers water
mine has started cracking which is ashame. yep it's tricky, though I also think different water bottles might work better, than the one I have.

Re: Gabbers water
For syrians we thread an elastic cord through the two small holes in the lid and tie them. It is easy to slot the tube through the larger hole then stretch the elastic over to hold it in place. For babies and smaller dwarf hammies we have actually drilled a spout hole in the base part lower down and the can reach that fine. There are some pics in Gabber rex and lux cage reviews.

Re: Gabbers water
Thanks all! Have had to buy a bigger bottle but not a problem as it truly is an excellent cage, just as good as everyone says it is!!

Re: Gabbers water
I struggled with my Gabber's water last night too! But...I've got several spare rabbit bottle holders, its longer than the hamster bottle size, so I used that
