Re: What IS an Ovo Loft suitable for?
I've ordered it, and some extra grass seeds. Hoping that between my snails, hamsters and gerbils it will be appreciated.

Aww, they don't ship to Canada But I can get most of those. Not sure about the chickweed though, that stuff is delish! (Yes, I eat the weeds from my yard!)

Re: What IS an Ovo Loft suitable for?
Couldn't you collect the seeds if it grows in your yard? And just grow it? Good luck finding them.
I might have found myself another cheap OVO cage on eBay. It's about 45 min drive away, but only 15 min past my partners work so might ask him if he would get it after work one evening and bid away.

Oh yeah, it's no problem to get most if not all of the seeds listed, I just might have to order a few in. I just liked the idea that *this* mix is for hamsters

My hamsters like fresh basil, cress and criander, you could mix and match different herbs in there

They like coriander? Really? That surprises me! I guess because so many people don't And basil I would have thought was too strong as well. Love cress! It grows wild here

Re: What IS an Ovo Loft suitable for?
I have given both dry and fresh basil, they LOVE IT! its one of their favorites, I will grow more after the move they do like coriander and mint, the only herb to avoid is chives as its a relative of the onion they really enjoy cress, water cress, spinach ect. if you only have a few hamsters a few leaves from the herbs a few times a week will add some nive verity, and wont be too much on the plant not to grow it back
Ild be careful with wild grown, as you cant be sure of pesticides but if its an area you know it isnt used it could be fine, just give it a good wash first
