Wodent wheel colours - which would you want?
One of my friends through keeping hedgehogs is a wholesaler for pet supplies (and a godsent for cheap goodies ), and he is looking into bringing wodent wheels over to the UK. He asked me to find out what colours would be popular, as obviously if everyone wants brown and cream 'natural' looking ones, he'll focus on them, and if nobody wants icy blue and green ones, he'll not get any, etc.
Doesn't matter if you want a wodent wheel, or have a wodent wheel, but knowing what colours people would be most likely to buy would help him out greatly.
Happy to give folks his email address if you PM me as well - he does a fair few things that are hammy useful (ZZs, SSs, FSs, chews, wooden log bridges, etc - long long list!), but that is another side of things
Hope nobody minds me posting this, since hopefully he'll go through with it and we'll all get access to more prettier colours of the three types of WW without the shipping

Oh wow, would be cool if he could! Does he sell online? If so, could you PM me the URL?
I love the white and lilac ones. If I ever get a Wodent Wheel for a female ham, that's the colour I'd like.

Re: Wodent wheel colours - which would you want?
...lightning fast reply there
He has an ebay shop, although personally, I just email him a list of things I want, he prices what he can up (some stuff involves hunting, or is unavailable) and sends back an email with the cost, then I see what I can realistically afford, and paypal it. But I know some folks don't like doing things so casually
I have pinged him an email to check this thread, and hopefully he'll have a look (I keep an eye on the hog forums for him as well I work hard for my low low prices, ha!).
I will PM you anyway for the ebay shop.

I'm an extra enthusiastic poster LOL
I don't mind doing things casually, certainly when it's a real person rather than a company. I'd also prefer to support small businesses than buy from big places like ZooPlus (one of the reasons I buy from ECF, they are family run).

Re: Wodent wheel colours - which would you want?
Naturally, I can't find his darn ebay shop - I've told him to come look here, so hopefully he'll let me know which of his email addresses he wants to use for business (not sure if I've got the business one or the personal one ).
On the plus side, I've made a number of orders - admittedly, I don't pay P&P usually because I get it hand delivered during hog shows, but so far the only things he hasn't been able to cheaper for me were flexi funtime dog leads (but he did other flexi varieties cheaper - my pet services company does dog walking as well as the pet sitting/boarding, hence the need for lots of dog leads ), and lounging logs that were slightly more expensive than elsewhere. And the rope cargo nets off Rat Rations which he said were the cheapest he's seen, and to get them off there - he's pro small businesses as well Also has done me a few deals where I return the bubblewrap (for when I do get things posted), and get a discount off the P&P
And what I do is draw up a spreadsheet of the price for Zooplus, pet planet, amazon, ebay, P@H and any other specialist places (Kong, for example), and see if he can beat it. Obviously ignores P&P costs, but I save a fair whack off the costs.
I shall send out PMs when he emails me back - not sure if he's having tea, or gone to work, but will be with you PM-wise by the morning
Think he'd welcome anyone who wants green 12" silent spinners with open arms as well - fairly sure that is the least popular colour choice and they come in mixed boxes.

I have a green and brown one. I like it because it blends in and looks more natural...if that's even possible when we're talking about a plastic wheel in a wire cage lol!

Re: Wodent wheel colours - which would you want?
I have the brown and beige/cream junior one. The green track looked too dark for me, but the cream merges nicely with the megazorb/aubiose, and the brown goes with the desert bedding/finacard
