Re: Let's see your cages (from January 2012)
I know my boys Loki and Reuben would looooove a 100cm cage because they are so active, especially Roobs.
Might have to get them a new cage each for christmas.

Thanks Spark! I have the same issues, so I check the reptile section a lot haha, the holes and whatnot for lizards seem to be suitable for Syrians bums :P

Same here - and I also shop a lot in the bird and the reptile sections. There is pretty much nothing adequate, cute, etc in the hamster/gerbil aisle.
I am envious of that tank. I'd love to sell off my smaller aquariums one day and use that money to put toward one really big tank - this will be after my robos pass on - the two who are in tanks currently.

Amazing thread. I have spend way too long looking through the whole thing! Have gained some great ideas for our hamster to be, so thank you! Really looking forward to it. So wish I could get one of those acorn houses from the US - absolutely love them! Nowhere seems to ship them over here

I love checking the reptile section, but I tend to overcrowd my ZZ so I stopped going to the petstore all together
