Default Shelves

Well while some of you were having fun at Kingswinford and buying new hamsters (and my other half was watching Villa lose to Arsenel) I have been busy re-organising my little bedroom so I can fit all my hamsters in.
I wanted to move the bed out but was outvoted by the rest of the family so I had to find a way to fit more shelves in as well as the bed and the computer. (This is a tiny room).
Well this is what I did. First dismantled the old, big desk. Then built my new small workstation (with a broken finger I might add):

Then I put all my girls on the old shelves:

Fuzzy & Berry on the top shelf in the Cambridge cages.
Then Pudding, Truffle & Cara in the Gabbers.

Then I put my new shelves together. They are not very pretty but will actually hold 10 cages so very functional.

The top shelf is out of the photo, the room is too small for photos! These are now the boys shelves. Basil & Sid are on the bottom in the Imacs, then Balou in the Trixie and Runty in the Wilko hamster cage. Next up in the 2 imacs are Gizmo & Chunky.
So now everyone is in one room which makes my life much easier. [/img]

That all looks wonderful, Basia - I know how much easier it is to get organised and have everything and everyone to hand in the evenings. I'm now wondering if I can do boy/girl shelves

Will you be able to free-run them in that room or will you still do that in the conservatory?

Wow, that looks great. I wish I could do something similar but my cages are mostly those huge 2 storey ones and you'd get like 2 to a shelf

Being a one bedroom flat is a pain really, I have all my hams in the living room which is a bit off putting to some when you entertain
