Actually I've bid against Debs before, although didn't know until afterwards (and it turned out it was lucky I won, since she was only bidding for a 29cm wheel and they were 15)
Maybe everyone who bids against you ever is Debs! :O
And yeah, I hatee that, Bidding on something for somebody else is the worst one, because you know how much above your 'maximum' you'll go, I remember I lost a laptop my boyfriend wanted by £5 and He'd have paid that >.<
