Each year the CHA participates in the America's Family Pet Expo held at the Orange County Fairgrounds. This event draws thousands of people, and is one of the best opportunities for educating the public about proper hamster care. This is a fantastic event with thousands of animals of all species in attendance. Admission fee is $12 for adults and $6 for children age 6-12. We invite you to come visit the CHA booth. Spring Show - Pet Expo

Hamster Show at the America's Family Pet Expo. Orange County Fairground in Costa Mesa. This is a very special show because of the large audience, and is one of the rare opportunities where the general public is exposed to the idea of exhibiting small animals. This show usually draws a large entry and is a lot of fun for all participating. Each entrant receives one free admission to the expo. For this reason we have an early deadline for show entries. Entries received after deadline will be accepted, however free admission will not be guaranteed.

Entry Deadline - 5:00 PM Monday April 16th

Hope to see you all there! This will be my 3rd year volunteering at the CHA booth at the Pet Expo. I'll be there on Saturday only, to help out and to attend the show. If you go, please say hi, chances are I'll be the only 20-something year old girl behind the table~

It would be great if they can travel and have some on the east cost, pretty sure their will be ALOT of people that will come out. Could you by a chance talk to them for the people who live on the east coast for us please?

What are you asking? For the hamster club or the pet expo? I think if people want a hamster club on the East Coast, they should try to form their own~ It would be cool for all of you to have one!

The reason I haven't shared before is because of this: CHA Photo Policy for Shows-

Pictures are usually taken at CHA shows for use on our CHA website. These include group photos of people as well as pictures of winning or participating hamsters. On occasion or upon request, pictures of individuals are taken with their hamsters for use in the show results section. Participation in our shows grants permission for photo use on our CHA website. If members choose to take their own photos, those photos may be used for personal photo albums. Pictures taken at CHA shows, though, may not be used on public or personal web sites The only exception to this rule is for pictures taken of the member's own animals or of themselves.

Still you can take pics of your own hamsters and yourself at the show for us

They are lots of fun! I look forward to the Pet Expo every year, I really enjoy volunteering with the CHA. I will try to get more photos this year. Ive just got a picture of the cage I brought Periwinkle in & her ribbon from last year.

Less than a month away now.. Getting excited! I think this might be Periwinkle's last show. She has been doing them for a year now.
