This month's theme is...

My Sweet Pet

We want to see in this competition your hammy interacting with you or another human. It can be in your hands, snuggling on your knee etc! You may show your face if you wish, but it is not necessary.

You are allowed 2 pics per user, and you can enter until the end of May, then the voting will be posted. This will last for 20 days. Please include the hamster's name in your post.

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with, and looking forward to seeing some of our newer members entering! From browsing the forum I can see that loads of you have already got entries available!

I hope I'm allowed to ask a question here

It's allowed to be an old picture, right? Does it matter if the hamster has since passed away? Just wondering because I have a piccy of Toe somewhere which would suit this. Doesn't matter if not though

Any hamster is fine Jane as long as it was yours, so it does not matter if it has passed away now.

Me n Hamlet many years ago now! Well... about 5? 6? She was my first hamster and she stole my heart! She had Wet Tail Twice, Dislocated her led and was paralysed for 3 months until accidentally dropped by my brother. She then nearly died from choking on a rubber band she had pouched but she let me put my finger into her pouch to get it out. Only after all that to find she had Cushings Disease and at the young age of 1.5 I had to make the decision to let her go. I wont love anyone or anything the same She helped me cope through a hard time in my life, she would sit in her portable nest on my desk when i had to do homework and on my pillow when i could only cry.

Mogwai, daughter of Moo, 2nd generation in a line still going strong . Did you ever see a hamster enjoy having its belly tickled? She was one weird little critter!! Her first daughter Mini mog is now about 3 years old
