Re: is it wet tail
Hi not a complete expert but from the picture it doesn't look like wet tail, wet tail is normally exactly what it says the bum area is normally very wet, they loose their appetite, stop grooming and sleep alot more. These are just a few syptoms of wet tail, thats all i really know, i cant find anything that looks like what your hamster has so i would take a trip to the vets just to be safe

Re: is it wet tail
I think, as he has had this before I might get it checked out i&P. It is not out and out wet tail and he may just be a lazy ham about cleaning but better safe that sorry. Have you fed him anything different?

It looks quite swollen ans sore on the picture, is it like that or is it just the flash highlighting his manhood?
