Default Homeopathy for Hamsters?

I was wondering since Treacle is very uncomfortable due to her skin problems, if she could have a homeopic remedy such as arnica. I am aware of it having no side affects and that other animals can have it.

I havn't managed to find much on other sites but am ever hopeful .
I am willing to try any and all methods to help my little Treacle feel better.

Thanks,
Caroline + Treacle xx

I have a very good book which I have consulted.
With mites severe itchiness may need treatment with corticosteroids and lesions may need antibiotic / steroid cream such as fuciderm used sparingly.
Homeopathic remedies which may help are Sulphur ( if the hamster avoids warmth and the itch is worsened by warmth) or Psorinum ( if the hamster desires warmth and covering and is improved by warmth) but a Homeopathiv vet should be consulted if these fail.
Mites can sometimes indicate that the immune system is low so it may be an idea to give her some extra vitamins.

Before you buy any homeopathic medicine for yourself or anybody else - pets included - please, PLEASE watch the following links below. It'll take up 13 minutes of your time but please do it. As you are watching it please keep in mind that Ben Goldacre and Richard Dawkins are both highly esteemed academics in their respective fields and anything that they say is born out of scientific research and observation.

Ben Goldacre:

Richard Dawkins:

I study Biochemistry at university and we have been taught from day one the importance of research and observation. It's something I feel very strongly about and I do my best to voice these opinions when people ask me about homeopathy. Oh you don't want to hear me rant about the supposed MMR and autism link! I'm not going to say anything but I hope you watch the two videos and make a decision yourself.
