Well I wasn't sure about this but when I took my cat in for a check-up I asked really nicely if I could have a little bit more and they charged me £3.80.
Lisa seemed to respond well to the antibiotics initially but she rapidly deterioated earlier in the week and by Thursday morning it was clear that her time was up.
I called the vet to get her put to sleep ASAP as she was clearly suffering and having some kind of seizure but she didn't even make it and passed out shortly after. To be honest I was quite glad that I didn't have to put her through getting in the car etc in the end.
The tragedy of it was she was shaking quite rapidly and I picked her up to have a look. She then went into quite a violent fit in my hands and jumped back into her cage. To be honest I think that picking her up led to a massive stroke which finished her off - very upsetting to see but I just wanted to say goodbye
